I am working on my golf game and I have a great sense of humor. I am a curious tinkerer who loves to lead and develop people. I enjoy tinkering with tech and act as the defacto IT support for my family and friends.

Professionally, I am a risk executive with 15 years of experience leading security, technology, risk and compliance programs for start ups and global conglomerates in the heavily regulated industries of insurance, financial services and healthcare.

Over the course of my career, I have worked in both 1st and 2nd line risk functions, reporting directly to ERM or supporting ERM decentralized policies. I specialize in the operational risk category where I have focused on technology, operations and security. I have both hands on experience and leader responsibility in every information security risk domain ranging from very technical efforts like architecture, penetration testing and forensics, to process heavy efforts like incident response, governance, risk and compliance. My ability to stand up, operationalize and optimize information security and risk programs, is much better than my golf game, but I am committed to working on it.
