As the former Chief Commercial Officer at Interac, Canada’s national payments and digital information exchange network, he increased revenues, margins, and profits by 131% and 5%, respectively over his ~5-year tenure, while investing in future growth initiatives. He was CEO of American Express Middle East & North Africa (18 countries) doubling revenues in 3 years, and held other chief executive roles at Dynamics Inc., US State Department/USAID, and Central Bank of Iraq, where he advanced financial inclusion, digital transformation, and customer-centric solutions in emerging and frontier markets. He is passionate about mentoring the next generation of FinTech entrepreneurs as an early-stage investor, accelerator and advisor.
